Protected child mobility as infrastructure.

Kita Bus is a protected and inclusive child mobility service providing safe, reliable and comfortable transport between families and Kitas. We organise scheduled morning and afternoon journeys between agreed pickup points and the children's Kitas, and safely back home again.

The service is open to all families, while being intentionally designed to address the needs of children and communities that may face greater mobility, safety, accessibility or discrimination related barriers.

Our mobility concept is built around carefully selected vehicles and transport partners, qualified professional drivers, age-appropriate child restraint systems and clearly structured operating procedures. Our goal is to ease the daily burden on parents, improve access to childcare and provide children with reliable, respectful and child-centred transport.

The service operates in Berlin, with plans to expand gradually across additional districts and other German cities.
